Community members will have an opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their positions on issues at the Candidate Forums being held May 16th and 17th at the Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center at 2007 N. Civic Center Way, Round Lake Beach, IL 60073.

Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Northwest Lake County, Round Lake Area Library, Mano a Mano Family Resource Center, Mariposas Women’s Collective, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and WRLR 98.3 FM.

The events will begin at 5:45pm each evening with a “meet and greet” session with that evening’s featured candidates before the forum begins at 6:30pm.

During the forum, the audience will submit questions that will be moderated by the League of Women Voters.

Spanish language interpretation services will be provided.
